My Review: I LOVED this book sooo much!! The story is great, and the characters are endearing and lovable. There is so much wisdom in this book, and it has so many good quotes. I love homesteading stories, and this is one of, if not my favorite, one so far.
My Takeaway: This book is about the true meaning of home, and the struggles faced on the frontier. Parents might want to be aware that there are themes of racism and death in this story.
